Moved again

Well we found a house to rent, we moved into it this last weekend. The downside is that it's a house for sale, so if it sells, we'll have to move again. By the time our house is done being built, I'll never want to move again! Very stressful time for me right now. We aren't going to move all of our stuff in cause if we have to move out, it's less stuff to move. That's a quick update from our neck of the woods.

Bring on the cold and snow!

Well, it's offical. Winter is here in Coalville. It's snowing and windy right now. We're under a snow advisor until tomorrow. I'm excited for the snow, just not the idea that my husband has to commute in it. And that once the snow is here, it won't be long before it's gone, which means the baby will be here soon!
Shane's birthday was Saturday. We made him a cake, a purple one, which he told the girls he wanted. So we made him a purple cake with flowers and butterflies. That's what happens in a house full of girls!
So that's what's been going on with our family lately. I hope that you and your families are doing well. Till next time.

Jessica wanted to be Hannah Montana this year. She loves singing and performing!
Lizzy is our beautiful snow fairy!

This year we were able to actually take the girls trick-or-treating. Our ward didn't do the trunk or treat this year, so we went around to the homes in our ward and it was really fun. We were out for and hour and a half and came back with sore feet and full bags! The girls loved it! Even the part that we got rained on! Happy Halloween!

Blessings

Since being sick with this pregnancy, I've spent a lot more time than I want in bed and sleeping. The times that have me laying down I've thought about a lot of things. Mostly what a wonderful family I have. My husband of almost 8 years, how good he is to me, how patient he is; our two beautiful, fun girls and what a joy they are to us! Jessica is in first grade and loves to learn new things. She has lots of stories to tell us about her days at school. We're so proud of her, she is so smart, and very sweet. Lizzy is a sweetheart! She loves to help anyone with anything. She loves hugs and kisses. Her heart is very tender and she easily gets her feelings hurt. But with that tender heart comes lots of love from her! We're excited to add another angel to our family. We have been waiting a couple years for this baby to come. It's been a challenge for us because we love kids and I'm not very patient. When I was something, I want it now. So I've had to learn to be a lot more patient. But with the trials we've faced it's helped me appreciate what I do have. And that is a wonderful family. I love my husband so much, I would be a mess without him! He keeps me grounded and I learn so much from him. Our girls teach me a lot too! I'm so grateful for all that Heavenly Father has blessed me with. I hope and pray that I can continue to be teachable and appreciate my blessings.

Perfect Fall Day

Today has turned out to be a wonderful fall day! The breeze is blowing in that crisp fall smell. It's still warm enough outside to ride bikes around the yard. And Shane's favorite, hunting season. He went hunting Saturday, with the intent to get a big buck, nothing under 26 inches. But after returning that night, he said he didn't see anything. Just a bunch of hunters, and some small bucks. He doesn't get discourage though, he can't wait to go back out on Wednesday. We'll see what he gets this year. Have a wonderful fall day!

Hogle Zoo Trip

Friday, October 17 found us at the Hogle Zoo. Since it was fall break at school, we decided to celebrate the break and the nice fall weather by going to the zoo. Our friends, Kristen, Jensen, and Avery Pitts came to celebrate with us. The favorite attraction at the zoo was the merry-go-round. The girls thought it was the best hands down. It was a fun day of seeing animals, going on a ride, having lunch and hanging out with good friends! Thanks for a fun day Kristen! The girls loved hanging out with Jensen and Avery! We need to get together more often!

A Girls Day Out

Today, I went to see my sister Heather who lives in salt lake. It was nice to get away, no kids, no husband, just the two gals. We went to lunch at the California Pizza Factory. Unbeiliveably delicious food! I recommend the pesto pasta with chicken! I can't wait to go back for more! Then we took a stroll through the Gateway. I was reminded that the outlet mall in Park City that I usually shop at is not so bad afterall. The prices in the Gateway are crazy. It was nice to walk around outside and enjoy the sunshine and crisp cool fall air. Even if the smell of smog was there, it was still nice. It defintely recharged my batteries. Then we went back to her place and played the lego Indiana Jones game on her PS2. I was reminded of how bad I am at video games, but it was fun to act silly and laugh. Thanks for the fun day Heather! I love you doll! I'm so grateful to have family so close!

Tag, you're it

The rules of the random info tag are as follows:
1. Link the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write 6 random things about yourself.
4. Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them.
5. Let the person know you tagged them on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know when you've posted.

Random #1:
I slept in the closet of my bedroom when I was about 9. I had to share a queen size waterbed with two sisters, and I hated it, so I slept in the closet. I eventually got past that weird phase.
Random #2:
If I had a nice voice, I would love to try out on American Idol, but since I don't I wont'.
Random #3:
I'm scared of flies, or anything that will buzz by my ears, I hate the noise of buzzing right by my ears, yuck!
Random #4:
I love the cold, because I can snuggle up to my hubby or kids. I love tons of snow cause it's so fun to play in and when I'm super cold, I can come in and warm up with hot chocolate and my family!
Random #5:
I had warts on the bottom of my left foot, they were so bad I couldn't bend my big toe. They're gone now.
Random# 6:
I talk in my sleep, at least I think I do. My older sister said I did growing up, but I don't know now, cause Shane doesn't wear his hearing aids at night, so I'll never know. If I'm ever over at your house overnight, if you hear talking, it's probably me!

I will tag: Mckenna, Danica, Heather, and Emily

First snowfall

Today was the first snowfall for this winter. The girls were so excited, they couldn't wait to get out and play in it! They threw snowballs at each other, ate the snow, caught snowflakes on their tongues, and threw snowballs at the front door!

Our First Week

Well, we've been here one week now. It's been a crazy week, but it's been nice to put all the mess of selling our house behind us! Now comes the daunting task of unpacking, organizing, finding our own place to rent, and getting things started on building our house! What fun we have to look forward to! We leave one mess behind and start four more! That's what life is all about! Enjoying the journey not the destination!
Shane is getting up pretty early to get to work now. Was it worth moving and adding a 40 minute commute just to be in the country surrounded by wide open spaces and fresh air? I think it just might be worth it, but ask me in another six months and it might be different. You'll have to ask Shane too!
Heidi is still sick a little from being pregnant. I wonder when or if it will pass. But it's comforting to know that I am sick which means I'm still pregnant. I love being home with Lizzy, just the two of us... sort of. She is just a joy to me and I savor every moment I have with her!
Jessica is loving first grade in her new school. Today they are going swimming and mommy is going to volunteer help. I'm looking forward to helping out not wearing my "fat suit" though. Jessica has made many friends already but forgets their names.
Lizzy is a huge help around the house. Somedays it seems she's attached to my hip! She follows me around asking if she can help or if she can do it for me. What a sweetheart she is. I'll be sad when she starts school next year.
It is rumored that it will snow here tomorrow. All I can say is BRING IT ON! I'm ready for the next 9 months of winter! The girls and I had so much fun last winter with all the snow we got! We made snowmen, snowforts or atleast tried, rode the sleigh around the yard, had snowball fights and let's not forget the endless hot chocolate we drank! People that know I grew up in Washingtion state ask if I miss the rain. ABSOULETLY NOT! I would take the 9 months of snow over 9 months of rain any day! I love winter and all the fun that comes with it. Plus all the holidays during winter helps make winter pretty special too! I loved growing up in Washington, but love living where we are! Life in our first week in coalville has been great! New friends, new home, new adventures!
Tonight the girls and I are going to have our monthly celebration of the night is what the girls call it. We get in our prettiest pajamas, paint our nails, put on our makeup, do our hair, eat popcorn and watch chick flicks! No boys allowed, except for daddy! So bring on the chick flick, the fun and glamor! I love having girls!

Just Moved

Shane and I have finally made it back to Coalville. We've wanted to move back since we left in the first place. We've already taken the girls up to the mountains on the four-wheeler, something we could never do in Heber. They love the fact that grandma is our roommate! We plan to build here in the near future, depending on how the housing market goes and if we can get a loan to build. Things are scary right now. Jessica is in First grade and is already making friends. She can't wait for friday cause she'll get to go swimming with her school. They teach swimming here. So we have moved now, just have the daunting task of unpacking. Yuck! Take care and maybe someday we'll get pictures put up here.

New to Blogging

Hello out there friends in cyperspace! I finally decided to join the blog craze. I don't know when we'll get pictures up, but be patient they'll come.
News of our family as of now... our house is still up for sale. The market is just horrible right now, no matter where you are and what price your house is at. School starts for Jessica in 3 weeks, she'll be in 1st grade. I can't believe it. My first baby is in 1st grade. It's going to be more difficult than kindergarten, I think, because she'll be gone all day! But I'm excited for her. She's a sweet girl and I know she'll make friends right away. Lizzy has one more year till she start kindergarten. So I have one more year at home with her! Shane is working hard as ever with the company he's worked for for 6 years! Heidi is madly trying to caught up on the family scrapbooks while working on her sister's too. I work part-time graveyard shifts at an assisted living center. I work graveyard for two reasons. Number one, no paying for child care, and two, I'm a night owl, I can stay up late and not have it bother me too much.
BIG news for you all. We are expecting our third child in April! We got pregnant last summer, but we miscarried in November. So we're very excited but very nervous and cautious.
That's our news in a nutshell.
